Washington Student Achievement Council
“The Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC) is a nine-member council supported by a cabinet-level state agency. By statute, the Council provides strategic planning, oversight, advocacy, and program administration to support increased student success and higher levels of educational attainment in Washington.” (WSAC)
WSAC’s Challenge:
WSAC’s goal is to increase student enrollment and success within the state of Washington. To do so, they launched a web-based tool called Compass. CollegeAPP was tasked with finding adult learners to explore educational options both statewide and regionally.
CollegeAPP Approach:
WSAC presented us with the challenge of a statewide campaign coupled with a series of 38 micro-targeted regional campaigns. Each of the 38 service area targets was unique in their educational offering, which meant we could not use a one-size-fits-all approach. So we worked with the WSAC team to understand each regions need. Once we understood the needs of each service area and the State as a whole, we created our audiences. The approach worked, as detailed by our engagement rates below.
