Data Will Usher in New Generation of Efficient Recruiting Capabilities for Business Related Programs Across Higher Education

[Los Angeles, CA]: CollegeAPP, the adult-recruitment data platform for higher education, is publishing the first-ever, person-level predictive models for interest in business programs among adults who have Intent to Enroll in education or training.   The release comes just one month after the company announced a data science breakthrough with predictive models in STEM/Cyber/IT.

CollegeAPP President Jack MacKenzie said, “The business of business school recruiting, from undergraduate to MBA is about to be APP’d. By that, we mean it’s time for colleges and universities to realize there is a new potential business student out there, unseen by look-a-like and so-called best fit approaches. CollegeAPP’s platform makes it possible to find them through our proprietary adult prospect pipeline intent-first approach. One of our partners calls it ‘getting APP’d’ and we agree.”

CollegeAPP partners who gain access to the MBA and business program interest models will have the ability to dynamically filter intent to enroll data by important geographic, demographic and behavioral information, such as previous education attainment, to create focused, customized lists for a range of business offerings. “We are committed to creating efficiency in adult student recruitment,” MacKenzie said.  “And the way to do that is to deploy data sources designed with efficiency in mind.   Demographics don’t create insight into intent, people do.  Our data, focused on person-level future intent to enroll is proving to be the data source that makes efficiency a reality.  If the current strategies of recruiting adult students were working, we’d know by now.”

Andrea Shaw, current CollegeAPP Senior Vice President and former Assistant Dean of Marketing at The Leavey School of Business, says the new models are a game changer for business-focused programs across the country.  “Santa Clara successfully brought costs down and enrollments up using CollegeAPP, and that was four years ago, when CollegeAPP was new” Shaw recalled.   “Since I’ve joined the company we have not stopped innovating, finding new ways to create increased efficiency.  This scientifically based advancement based on intent AND program interest will only make marketing more targeted, efficient and successful.  Trust me, those are three magic words for business school admissions and marketing departments. “

Shaw and the CollegeAPP team will be demonstrating the new predictive models to graduate and professional programs over the next several months as programs gear up for the next enrollment cycle.  Shaw is also planning to showcase the models and existing case studies from several graduate programs at upcoming graduate and professional marketing conferences including the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) Conference in June and the RNL National Conference in July.
